Why do we need a final ultimate super master mode thingy?
for the lulz?

idk, i just thought that there are always people who want more challenge from a game. and having one final challenge after getting through everything else is something a lot of people tend to want

It occurred to me just now. Why not flip the Hoenn Region sideways? Instead of route 48 connecting to Shoal Cave, why not flip it 90 degrees and make it connected to Slateport City or even LittleRoot Town(Littleroot town having a small passage way through the woods from a harbor to the town).
This works if you guys were to reset pokemon journeys and levels from one region to the other.
You start Hoenn with new pokemon just like trainers do in the anime. People then could choose to use their high level pokemon from other regions if they wanted to participate in a Pokemon League.
We don't need to use fan made resources when Gamefreak's been using Japan as the layout of all their regions from generation 1 - 4.

I completely agree! That's one flaw I saw in Hoenn was a seemingly endless surf route. But your boat route system seems complex. Couldn't you just "earn" a ticket that you can use at any port to access the next region? There are 2 ports in Kanto/ Johto... 2 ports in Hoenn... 2 ports in Sinnoh. (Orange Ticket, Sevii Ticket, Emerald Ticket, Platinum Ticket, "Event Tickets"). But the fly hops are a good call!

As for Unova... Uhhgh Another Region, isn't 4 main ones good enough :sour:?
Just a concept i made (mind you I'm a programmer not an artist.)
I havn't thought of this before, but as Hoenn is rotated shouldn't the Hoenn-enty of this tunnel be in the Meteor Falls as the Shoeal-Cave is in the southeast end of the map and the Meteor Falls would be in the northeast-corner?

Edit: or maybe better: the end is similar to the end of the tunnel of the Fossil Maniac (he breaks through and wonders where he is :D)

Edit2: the "long" tunnel is already there (emerald):

You may want to update how far the johto progress is as it seems like the next update (o.31) will be a Massive and I mean Massive Map Update.

It will help out, also, to put natural blocks also.
You can't get to Johto without HM Waterfall
You can't get to Hoenn without HM Dive
You can't get to Sinnoh without HM Rock Climb
You can't get to O.I. without HM Whirlpool

All which will be accessible when progressing through the story.
I really think a ferry system would fix the problem with travelling between regions.
I believe that once you complete a region, you get a ticket to the next.
When you go there and arrive in the new region, an event occurs or you meet the Professor of that region.
After the event you are taken to the starting town. The professor of the region takes your pokemon from the previous region and places it in the PC.

You begin the story new in a new region, and grow a new party. You are stuck inside the region until you hit the port city of that region. From that point, the option to ferry to previously completed regions is now permanently enabled. However all pokemon that you have gained in the current region have to stay until you return. All pokemon from other completed regions will be re accessible to use.

Once you come back to the unfinished region you swap out your pokemon again and receive the party for the current region continuing your journey.

Once you complete the Elite Four of that region you are allowed access to all your pokemon.

Repeat this process until all regions are unlocked.

There are two seperate PC systems. a regional PC that stores the pokemon you are using in the current unfinished region and the National PC which is accessible on all completed regions. Once you complete all region, the pokemon in regional PC's merge into the National PC.

BUT WAIT THERES MORE!

After beating all the regions you get access to a special event which takes you back in time and you get to play KANTO! With the original 151 Pokemon and no access whatsoever to other regions until you complete the Kanto Storyline.

BUT HOLD YOUR JIMMIES I GOT MORE FOR YOU!

A FINAL ULTIMATE MASTER MODE IS UNLOCKED. It's simply the same game but NUZLOCKE!!!!!!

good idea? good idea.

Hmm... you obviously haven't been reading the storyline I put together XD . I'm adding all the features you've mentioned. Maybe not a master mode, though... Their will be a huge amount of missions and based on the nature of this engine, people can add even more missions making this a impossibly long game.
how about the PC system and the traveling between regions?
The PC system will not be region locked. Yet, I was thinking just to put a "letter" ontop of the pokemon's overworld sprite to indicate what region it was caught. "K","J","H","S", "P (past kanto)" (Orange Island will be "K" also.)

The story is made where you can travel between regions without being screwed over by pokemon that wont listen to you. As for traveling between regions, the story will tell it all, but the ship can be used to travel between regions AFTER you reach the ports. The reason it's being made like this is:
A) Prevent Region lock confusion between Pokemon.
B) The ships will be used like the Battle Train in Generation V.
C) The ships, time machine, and other things will also be used to access special events.

Anyway, it's very well planed out and I'm sure the way the regions are connected with look smooth. I've spent weeks talking back and forth with people the best way to do this.

when i brought up the pc's it was meant to deal with the fact that people will bring in overpowered pokemon into the new regions and ruin the purpose of the game. how do you plan to deal with this if you're not using the pc idea

Easy... Say you're in the hoenn region and you bring you're now level 94 Charizard. Well if you don't have all 8 Hoenn badges, he will "Not listen to you if you give him a command" (I.e how high level trades dont listen to you.) (I.e. Charizard is loafing around!)

so reach 3rd gym, the gym leaders and all the overworld trainers average level is 20-30. the badge from the gym leader allows lvl 50. bring in lvl 47 starter from other region, sweep through region in matter of hours.

repeat for next region

game = broken.

there needs to be a stricter way to deal with this than just the badges

Who said the trainers would be level 30. ;)

Beside, this isn't a major conceirn... Hoenn's no where near being finished

im just saying. consider the possibility of region locked pc's and a national pc. this allows each region to be played as if new but then later on opens up again.

honestly that has been the one singular bane of anyone creating an All Region game of pokemon, because of the ease of the problem of overpowered pokemon.

i trust you know what you're doing. and i hold high expectations for this and for good reason. i wish you the very best.......(like no one ever wasssssssssssssssssssssssssss)

So... Legendary Pokemon Positions hehe...

Since Legendary Pokemon can have different stationary positions, I'm thinking of something special for them.

Kanto:

Articuno: Seafoam Islands

Zapados: Power Plant

Moltres: Mt Silver

Mewtwo: Cerulean Cave

Mew: Past Kanto Event

Johto:

Ho-oh: Tin Tower

Lugia: Whirl Isles

Entie: Mt Mortar (after completing certain events)

Rilou: Outside of Union Cave where it's always raining (after completing certain events)

Suicune: Same as HG/ SS... follow it until it's stationary near Bill's House

Celebi: Can be found it Ilex Forest after you beat the Johto and Past Kanto Elite Four

Hoenn:

Groudon: Found different spots on different days. Intense Sun means he's close.

Kyogre: Different Dive Spots on different days.

Rayquaza: Sky Pillar

Latios/ Latias: Different regions/ spots on different days

Regirock/ Ice/ Steel: Found between Sinnoh/ Hoenn on different days

Deoxys: Take a rocket to the moon (after completing certain events. Afterward, you can return to the moon anytime

to visit 4 special rocks. The rocks will turn Deoxys into different forms.)

Jirachi: Can be found on Orange Island after defeating the Hoenn Elite Four and Collecting all Orange Island Gym Badges.

Sinnoh:

Uxie: Acuity Cavern

Mesprit: Certain Areas on different days.

Azelf: Valor Cavern

Dialga: Portal on Sphere Pillar (Must be holding the Adamant Orb)

Palkia: Portal on Sphere Pillar (Must be holding the Lustrous Orb)

Giratina: Found in story or on Sphere Pillar in Distorted World Portal (Must be holding the Griseous Orb for Portal)

Heatran: Stark Mountain

Regigigas: Snowpoint Temple (Must have all 3 Regi's)

Cresselia: In game mission to Fullmoon Island

Phione: Breed Manaphy and Ditto

Manaphy: Egg given by Professor Rowan after beating the Sinnoh Elite Four

Darkrai: In game mission to Newmoon Island

Shaymin: In game mission to Flower Paradise

Arceus: Hall of Orgin (Given the Azure Flute after champion of Sinnoh and have a 2 of the 3 creation trio.)

Unova (Yes, Unova Legendaries):

Victini: Liberty Garden (You can't access Unova, however Liberty Garden will be accessable via the Liberty Pass after certain in- game events)

Cobalion: Route 29 in Johto on Fridays and Mondays (after champion)

Terrakion: Route 101 in Hoenn on Saturdays and Tuesdays (after champion)

Virizion: Route 201 in Sinnoh on Sundays and Wednesday (after champion)

Tornadus: Outside of Sky Pillar in Hoenn after finishing certain missions

Thundurus: In New Mauville after finishing certain missions

Landorus: In Meteor Falls after finishing certain missions

Reshiram: After completing a mission, a ticket to Truth Island will be received.

Zekrom: After compleating a mission, a ticket to Ideal Island will be received.

Kyurem: Once you beat Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn you are given the DNA Splicer. With it, you can access a hidden room in Dragon's Den in Johto.

Keldeo: Have all 3 Swords of Justice in your party, Go South of Pallet Town.

Meloetta: Found in front of the Kimono girls dance studios in Johto (after finishing certain missions)

Genesect: Once you're champion of Kanto, Past Kanto, Johto, and have all Orange Island badges you can use the "Lab Pass" to go to Plasma's Secret Lab.

Shiny/ Special Legendaries!!!!

Shiny Articuno, Zapados, or Moltres: Complete the Kanto Regional Pokedex... the first of the trio you encounter after you do so will be shiny.

Shiny Ho-oh or Lugia: After Beating all the Johto Missions, you will obtain a ticket to Navel Rock. Go upstairs for a shiny Ho-oh, Downstairs for a shiny Lugia. The other Pokemon will flee once you catch the one you pick so choose wisely. You must HAVE NOT caught the other two respectively or they wont appear. Sorry, you can't have 2 of the same legendary unless you trade :p

Shiny Groudon, Kyoger, or Rayquaza: After Beating all the Hoenn Mission, you will have the choice of obtaining the Red, Blue, or Jade Orb. You may take the Orb you recieve to the Embedded Tower where you will be able to catch the shiny Pokemon if you haven't caught the original yet.

Shiny Dialga, Palkia, or Gratina: After you beat all of the Sinnoh Missions, take your Arceus to the ruins of Alphs. Walking in to the house to the south will start the Sinjoh Ruins event. The Event will give you the Shiny legendary you haven't caught yet.

Dark Lugia: Complete the Johto Region Pokedex

If you have a better idea of where a Legendary can go, feel free to suggest :)
