Walking Question

I don't know if it's just me but I find the walking to be kind of odd. Like I try to walk to the right or left and the character keeps going straight unless I stop moving, in my opinion I find that odd. Thanks for anyway replies/feedback.

you can only move in the direction of the camera
controls are
w: forward
s:turn 180
a: turn left
d: turn right
e: menu/b
space/enter/left click: a
mouse: camera

it just feels strange imo to have to stop and turn to go another direction, but 'll get use to it.
