Not confirmed [Indev 0.53] Surf not Working

Help me please I'm stuck.

I have 3 pokemon badges, I got the Fog Badge from Morty in Ecruteak City, I won with all Kimono Girls, I have a Pokémon with the move Surf (HM03, from a man in Ecruteak City), I walk against an edge where water begins while I'm not riding a Pokémon; and the dialogue square didn't appear.

I am actually using the Pokemon 3D Indev 0.53 version

Oh. Sorry, I just read he had 3 badges and thought he was missing the 4th. I feel pretty dumb now.

we removed that for a number of reasons a number of months ago
and it wont be coming back
having it be triggered by walking into it causes more problems than you'd think :p

Did you press the space bar in front of any body of water? if not make sure you have a pokemon with surf in your party. if you haven't done these obvious choices, try to re-download your Pokemon 3D game.
