I already installed the font files, don't worry.
I will be using my nickname, Sword for this. I'm also a boy, so yeah.
THis will be the man we're controlling. His goal is to purify the zones, and we must help him.
Our goal is to find the being named "The Judge".
From the beginning the game demolishes the fourth wall, later, we'll meet a merchant named Zacherie, and he'll make sure the fourth wall is subjected to overkill.
We pan in on Zone Zero, and it is a nice view, to be honest.
This is The Judge, he (wrongfully) assumes we're a figment of his imagination.
Judge :Nevertheless, I will introduce myself. I am The Judge, and I am aching to know your name, dear elusory interlocutor.
Batter :I'm The Batter. I've been assigned to a sacred mission.
Judge:It is a pleasure. However, it is not the puppet I'm talking to but the puppeteer controlling it. What is your name, dear puppeteer?
Batter:His name is Sword, he cannot talk to us. However, he can hear and see everything.
Judge :Even though you too are but an apparition to my eyes, let it be said that I am delighted to meet you as well, dear Sword.
Batter:I believe we're in need of your services.
Judge:Many people are in need of my services, you know. Everybody loves cats. We rub ourselves against their legs and purr in the most insistent manner. They adore that.
Batter:I'm not talking about that kind of help.
Judge:I see... but what sort of service could I offer to an ectoplasmic entity?
Batter :I have a sacred mission to fulfill. I must purify the world.
Judge :There is no objective more laudable than yours. I accept to serve you as a guide through this area, if it is of any help to you.
Batter :Thanks.
He then jumps up to a higher point in the Zone, if you look at the picture, you will see a block to the right and a Chest to the left. The block is impossible to get by, so we go to the left and acquire a luck ticket (HP restoring items)
Judge:Might you in fact be a creature of flesh and blood?
Batter:I think so, yes.
Judge: So I have been mistaken from the beginning. You did not even interrupt me in my deluded phantasms... This is relatively bizarre, I must say, for you are the first living being I was given a chance to encounter in this lieu. I had in fact concluded that zone 0 was an empty land. Obviously I was misled. However, there exist other zones. And in those territories, the risk of hostile individuals attacking you in the most violent manner is quite high. Your sacred mission will likely lead you into these lands. Would you like me to teach you the art of violent confrontation?
We're then given the option of a combat tutorial, I say no because I am excellent at combat in this game.
Judge: So are you pretending to be able to handle the bat with virtuosity without even needing my wise pieces of advice? I hope for you that what you state is more than hot air meant to impress me, because that would be taking a high risk. But I will assume that this is not the case and that you are the fighter of value you claim to be. Be it as it may, your training has not reached its end yet. Let me ask you to follow me, if you still want me as your guide.
We then go up into the house to find...
Our first puzzle in the game. Puzzles, like the plot, are the key features in this game, and they require you to use your brain. However this one is simple and straightforward. I won't explain it because it's way too easy.
The blocks are arranged in
1234
5678 , this one is simple too, so it should come off as easy.
The cat then eats, and you're left with this keypad-like puzzle, I skipped a room that shows the answer, but it's
448
287
C
Going outside to the previously locked chest nets you the Silver Flesh, it restores CP (Think PP/Mana).
Judge:It is a cube, hovering in midair, as you have likely noticed. Nevertheless, you will be able to differentiate it from similar ones by the contrast of bad taste it imposes on your view of its clashing color, defying any sensible course of plastic arts. However do not judge it too quickly, because despite its criticisable appearance, this red cube is of undeniable use. Aside from rendering you the entirety of your health and competence points, it is capable of saving your progress and sending you to the nothingness. The nothingness is a lieu of transition outside of space itself, where you can travel from one point to another at the speed of light. I now invite you to try it out, in order to discover locations more populous than this deserted land. Open your wings, my dear companion, and hurry away towards the following zones without hesitation! Your only enemy is the fear that will grab you.
Batter: Okay.
Since I don't want to make this update to be too long, I will wrap it up by saying he will visit you soon and gives you the Leo-Card (Access to Zone 1), and we go to the nothingness,
NEXT TIME: Zone 1.
