I like to think I'm not stupid enough to forget to save, but it seems that every time there's a patch my old file goes MIA and I start from my room again.

Has any one else had this happen? Or do I really just "forget to save" every time?

Are you able to load your game fine between patches?

Whenever you have to update the game, try and remember to make a copy of your save file in case something gets lost.

This so much. It's a lesson Minecraft taught me very harshly.
