New player with a few questions.

Does the day and night feature correspond to real time? Like I have to actually play at night to catch a hoothoot?

How do I battle and trade with other players online? I thought you could walk up to other players playing online and start a battle/trade by talking to them, Wouldn't that be cool?

1. Yes, it does.
2. That would be inconsistent to the how player interactions in regards to collision is handled. You can start a battle/trade with someone by pressing Q (opening your Pokégear) and selecting PSS, then navigating left/right to go to the Passby list. There you can select the player you can to interact with.
