Are you going to have the same team as the one you used the first time you played G/S/C?

Which Rock type should I train?

For this game 3D, I want to use different pokemon than the first time I traveled throughout Johto.
I chose Squirtle as my starter and plan to only level it up to a Wartortle and I also caught a Zubat. I am still thinking about the other 4, but maybe I'll need a total of 7 pokemon I am not sure. I don't want my pokemon to just lay on pc boxes so I am probably only catching what I will be using. I am definitely thinking of having a Sunflora on my team.
Thanks for reading :stop:

First time I traveled Johto I was 8, and thought that everything but Typhlosion sucked. I don't think I'll be doing another Tyhphlosion solo run.

Also Sudowoodo all the way. Lures you into thinking it's a grass type, then BAM! Rock Throw! It's super effective!

I am going to use some of the same Pokemon as i did in Pokemon Gold, but i am also changing out some of my team. I don't remember my entire team and some of the original members was switched out later, but the first 4 members of my team were Totodile, Pidgey, Mareep and Nidoran male.

I still use two of these Pokemon now, which is Pidgey and Mareep. I'm using Cyndaquil instead of Totodile because i like Typhlosion alot more than Feraligatr, and for the first time, a Caterpie is now part of my main team XD. I'm going to get Nidoran once i get the chance.
