ANZAC day, its kind of like a 2nd remembrance day for us, for the battle of gallipoli in world war 1. it was the commonwealth attacking the ottomans to try and free up shipping lanes. we attacked a really bad spot and the ottomans were dug in. the guy that basically started secular turkey was the commander we fought against, cool guy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mustafa_Kemal_Atatürk
