Duplicate Only able to sell item at top of list

I'm trying to get rid of all my nuggets and pearls but it instantly goes to the top of the list (which in my case is a Dragon Scale) when making the attempt.

What I expected to happen:
Select nugget, hit space, "Would you like to sell Nugget for 5,000 pokedollars," get 5,000 pokedollars

What actually happened:
Select nugget, hit space, "Sell Dragon Scale for 1,050?" NO

Steps to reproduce:
TRY TO SELL SOMETHING NOT ON THE TOP OF YOUR LIST ITS EFFED MAN
