You wouldn't need to do that. It looks fine as it is. Plus you have to keep 2 thing in mind.

2) The build up of the engine is design for Pokemon Crystal. So yes, change resolutions will be a hair pulling effort.

Well, it wouldn't be "hair-pulling" I would have to go into my texture files and change (and essentially remake) all my textures, twice as large.
Then, I could go into the text files and change all of the pixel limits to 32,32
In pokeditor it would be the "_textures" line. It would go from:
[16,144,16,16] to [16,144,32,32]
So, tedious, but not impossible.

I think that when you start the game someone should make a option of witch region you start in like you could choose jhoto kanto or hoenn (hoenn is m fav because I heard u leik mudkipz) and when u get to a region u can choose 1 starter from the other regions when u get there and have higher levels in the other region based on where u start and maby have the way u get to hoenn from the other regions is when the big cpu on one island gets linked with hoenn these are just sugestions and I really would like hoenn to be finished soon(next year or so)

I no longer use a program, but the only one available is "Pokeditor" You can look around on the forums for it, if you cant find it, i can give you a link. I have also made some tutorials for the program, and they are on youtube.

We do use Notepad/Notepad++ because all of the maps are text files

I really cannot wait to be able to play Hoenn in delicious 3d. I know there's still

Unfortunately, I am the only one currently working on Hoenn.
Also, I had a talk with the creator of Pokemon3D, Nilllzz, and we agreed not to release it, and it would go directly into the main game. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I have a pretty fair hand when it comes to music related things, and textures in general.
I haven't really looked into mapping for this yet, but I could probably pick it up relatively
quickly.

Alright, well it's good to know that so much progress has been made. Hoenn is hands down my favorite
region out of all the pokemon series, and I can't wait to experience it fresh again.

Though you would need to keep in mind the co-op multiplayer. wouldnt work well if everyone started in a different region. they would need to wait till they reached a certain point in the game. not too much of a bit deal just saying.
