It's not intentional exactly. it's how the AI works, if the AI has has moves that are not effective, it does not use them. that's why it ends up with using status moves more frequently.

I'm not saying ban him for cheating, but what I am saying is, why consume resources to help people who break their saves while cheating? (btw this is not directed to @TheFlipside , I'm just saying in general, if I knew how to help him I would have helped him nonetheless)
