umm... I made a new save game and I noticed the map was not the correct name...

That can't be undone. The first time you start a gamemode it the engine still takes just original names. Just if you reenter the room or reload, it has its real name. That's an error that can't be fixed.

I've never actually seen that error. Was it like that upon first loading the map after the intro?
It is P3D bug that has been reported since 0.46.0 but it is not fixed. It will happen anywhere as long as you load the game first when you start the game. The second time will display the last location in any gamemode.

I put the folder in my gamemodes folder and its not working am i doing something wrong
Download the zip/rar file and extract it into your gamemode folder. Then you should run the P3D launcher and finally go to create a new game. That should work, otherwise make a clip pls ;)

He wasn't doing it Offline...he was doing it Online.

GameModes can only be done Offline (unless everyone on a specific server downloaded said GameMode, and the server was set to that GameMode).

Yes, offline there shouldn't be that error ;)
I have confirm that this bug do exist and it affect any custom gamemode. It is NOT GameMode Bug so don't worry. I going to report this bug in a moment. File validation got screwed up.
