Not a bug Pineco and Ferroseed won't breed (0.46)

I put a male pineco (knowing "spikes") and a female ferroseed into the daycare to pass down spikes to my ferroseed. But, the two won't breed at all. Is this because ferroseed's data hasn't been fully added into the game or something?

Edit: actually, the source I looked at may have been wrong. I found a different one that says cacnea/cacturn passes down the move.

Well to answer your question broadly: I can confirm Ferroseed can breed, as I have a few Ferroseed Eggs.

Ya, I know it can breed. I bred a few to get a female
