As the tourney draws near, I urge everyone to explore what kinda of teams you can make with your specialty type on Pokemon Showdown. You're allowed to use any non-legendary Pokemon of your type. I only say no legendaries because I'm not sure if they will be allowed in PvP as opposed to just ubers being banned.
Mega Pokemon are allowed. If a Pokemon changes its type into a type of your specialty upon Mega Evolving, you can use it. An example would be a dragon trainer being allowed to use Charizard as long as it Mega Evolves into Mega Charizard X as soon as it gets the chance.
If anyone would like a sparring partner, I'll be free for a while
