1) ok ok Thick Fat make Fire Attack much useless, i little overdone it ;pA) thick fat doesn't make you immune to fireDont ignore Poison
Mega Garhcomp learn Poison Jab(and Stab EQ to 1hko MMawille) , and alone can kill entaire Fairy Team, Poison is just solid in any situation, They cover Weaknes to the max, and they learn many counter moves: Levitate Weezing with Flamethrower first on mind,. Not to mention Nidoking with Icebeam/Earht power/Flamethower and anynoig Batto pass/Quiver dance Venomoth. if Venomoth pass 2x quiver Dance, Nidoking will sweep entaire team. Steel are solid cos of Sturdy, and good resist. They resist many types, and Sturdy in 90% of fight prevents Ko frome fire/fighting and thus they can 1hko fight/fire poks. For Fairy i will w8 until i will see it more.
As for Ice dont ignore it. Many Ice pokemons Have Thick Fat and are immune to Fire(and leave only weaksness to fight/rock/steel and many of them can 1HKO Fire pokemons (mammoswine) not to mention Cloyster, if you let him make Shell Smash its will swipe everythink, even sturdy pokemons. Also there is Foreslass with Taunt, and Destiny Bond she easy trade 1n1 and many time 2v1, also she protect frome Hazards. Not to mention if there is Hail.. Glaceon can 1Hko most pokemons you throw on it, but Evasion on Hail hurts the most.

B) there is literally only 1 ice type pokemon that makes good use of thick fat and that is mamoswine.
C) Weezing isn't exactly a competitive viable pokemon and even if it was, a fire type attack doesn't counter poisons weaknesses.
D) name one steel type with sturdy that can OHKO a main fighting attack user.
E) nidoking is like a normal type, you only use it for its coverage moves.
F) Froslass is an extremely niche pokemon, it doesn't protect from hazards it is just the best at removing them which can still be very tricky because it will likely either succeed at removing them and get ohko or just get ohko on the switch in due to its abysmal defences.
G) Fighting alone is a big enough issue to ruin ice types defensively, only the weak froslass neutralizes it in a competitive environment.
2) Dont Forget about Walrein, he is great Fire destroyer
3) Not sure if you are serious about Weezing... He have only one Weakness and if you have Drapion you get ride of this weaknes in 1 turn. And Ground moves dont work on him. And yes, Flame Thrower counter weaknes.. Steell poks are immune to poison, and with Flamethrower you deal nice amount of dmg to them.
4) Aggron 200defense and 120 attack, with sturdy, he will make at last 1n1 trade, Stelelix with Stab EQ propably can also 1hko some of them.
5) And thats why you have it in Team, as i told with Quiver Dance Venomoth he can sweep every one no matter what you throw, just bcos he can cover types, and destroy them to the ground (Stab Earth Power, and Sludge Bomb)
6) And thats why propably Ice was soo high in League, They just ignore her, and pay the price of it. You cant ignore 120 speed Taunt/Destiny Bond, as i said in 90% of games i make her trade 1 to 2 just bcos ppl dont know what to do with her.
7) In secret ill tell you that Steel is far more Pain than Figh. Just Bcos Fight pokmn dont have great defense either, and they dont take less dmg frome Ice attack. Its more about how kill faster. And Foreslass work great in favor for Ice

You can join, but you must have a pokemon to replace gengar, the rule is severe, you must have only psychic types

I highly recommend Gallade. He's the best available countermeasure to Dark Types.
