Solved Unable to use Cut

I taught my Quilava Cut but I still can't use it in the Ilex forest. I go toward the tree, and the only thing it says is that It can be cut down, nothing else.

Did you get the Hive Badge from the Azalea Town Gym? You need it to be able to use Cut on trees.
