My guess is so they can move out of your way when traveling.
By the way, is there any kind of interaction you can have with other trainers in Sandbox mode besides just chatting? Like asking to see their party or something?

It is fixed for some but not for others... not sure if the elite 4 are fixed yet. sorry I couldn't help .
Well the Infinite Loop bug was fixed, but new bugs sprang to take its place. I'm not sure if it's okay to challenge the Elite Four yet.

Was it before the new update?Elite Four is working fine
So I talked to Jasmine, went to Cianwood city, and the potion for her pokemon wasn't at the pharmacy. I beat Chuck and everything, but the dude in the pharmacy just wants to sell me stuff, he doesn't give me the potion to heal jasmines pokemon, so I can't challenge her to a gym battle. Idk if this is a bug or its just my game, but I'm just letting you guys know
