SPINDA it´s incedible how much i hate this thing
But the legendary ones from Generation 5 is also freakin bad
Aren't there like.... 12 of them? That's what upset me when I first saw them. WAY TOO MANY. It kind of depreciates the legendary value of each individual. What happened to "Legendary Pokemon" actually meaning something?
Generation 3 already had a load of 'em too, 10. Think that's where things escalated...

Hoenn had 8 obtainable in normal gameplay unless you count pseudo legendaries. Deoxys, and the other legendaries that are only accessible by cheats/events are also available in some of the versions of the Kanto/Johto games such as Fire Red and Heart Gold.

Ok, I knew Hoenn wasn't THAT bad with how many legendaries they had. Still, the number is kind of up there. Oh wait, I forgot Latios and Latias. Derp.

Neither Jirachi or Deoxys are obtainable in normal gameplay. Do they truly count as legendaries intended for that game?

Depends really. You could get a free Jirachi for connecting your gameboy with a gamecube pokemon game, completely legit so I think it should. Deoxys, not sure.

Most people count them in the Hoenn series even though the can only be obtained through cheats. I think its only by association through the movie, Jirachi: Wish Maker. A lot of Hoenn Pokemon were seen throughout the movie and most people grouped them together in the same series. Its a logical assumption, but an assumption nonetheless.

Eh. Then I suppose that is correct. The Hoenn Legendaries weren't all bad. I kinda liked all of them except the Regis. Now the legendaries just are not as great.

I have to agree Spinda is annoying as hell!
I am not a fan of the Generation 4 evolutions that come from older generations (Tangrowth, Magmortor etc.)

The Pokemon were fine without them! Rhypirior or what ever its called is the worst. During Gen 1/2 Rhydon was one of the pokemon that everyone wanted to have! It was amazing! Then gen 4 comes along and takes it's masculinity away from it, it's like a teenager pokemon now =/

The legendary epidemic is definitely a problem, but Vanillite and its evolutions really make me mad. It's probably that they seem like a symbol of the later gens' deterioration/desperation of the designers to come up with another 100 Pokemon. (Cue argument over whether the first 150 are the only "real" Pokemon or not.) But really, guys? Ice cream cones?
