If you want to follow the example of the games then Arbok and golbat/ crobat have both been used by the ghost type elite 4 member in gen 1 and 3 respectively.

do you mean by tm or buy learnset? if its learns then there are a few exceptions, but i can see them as ghost types, gotta ask darkfire though, oh if you are doing a ghost type you can always have 2 gengars as the gen 1 elite 4 had i think, gengars are very good depends on ivs, and nature and how you use them

you...what have you done?!?!??!?! I HATE UU!!!!!!!!!!! that team causes too much frustration with 2 gengers let alone 3....

Why not take it a step further with 3 hypno's. Dat stab psychic + insomnia makes gengar cry. Or use a early bird girafarig for complete immunity to ghost stabs!

i was just saying xatu because if u have that ability that reflects status moves u can make the match annoying by making both pokemon asleep for along time.

maybe you (or someone else) could start a thread solely for uploading gym teams so i would be easier than going to an image hosting site
