haha, no problem ^ ^. if you want you can check out my Story Mod Here: http://pokemon3d.net/forum/threads/602/

im pretty sure you'll like it.
the mod is based off a new story and plot after the events of gold and silver. and has story aliments that people would get deeply attached. (hopefully) and on its final works. in the end of the story scenario you can choose who you want to continue the story from there. where that story can advance from whatever character you chose to be with will affect the next storyline in the new region.

How do you add playable sprites to your pokemon-folder? Where do you place them? Or will it make the game crash?

character sprites go in pokemon/content/textures/npc/

the only way you'll crash it is if you make a typo putting the new skin's name into your save file lol :p or if you play coop and you're using a skin that isn't in the official files, anyone that hasn't got your skin will probably crash when they see you, but you'll probably be fine hhaha.

seems to me the best option would be to have a team of people who approve player made avatars to be implemented in newer versions of the game.... that way players could make their own unique avatars, submit them for aproval and then any player could use them in game and there wouldnt be issues with multiplayer viewing.

my other thought is about battle views. Obviously a psychic player who has a floating pokeball next to them wouldnt have a pokeball floating next to them as they walk around....so there would likely need to be seperate image files for those....

i already got custom sprites working, its going to be clientside only but you'll be able to play as any sprite you wish.

That is awsome! now if its client side only does that mean that when you do multiplayer other players wont see you properly?
