whats iron tail have to do with anything?

pikachu doesnt learn iron tail by level up. and pikachu was about like lv 1-15 when he faced brock

I guess that was later on in the series then, because I remember Ask training Pikachu to learn Iron Tail for a rock battle.

Then again, Ash only won in Brock's gym because the fire springlers went off. Water + Onix = defeated Onix.

did he not defeat the geodude first? and i forgot about the sprinklers.
and iron tail was WAY later since thats a gen 2 move and brock was like episode 4.

edit: but still look at the stupid stuff like in the first move where they trainer through out like 10 pokemon and pikachu one shots them all...

I don't know, I tried to rewatch Pokemon but I only got as far as ep 27, then it came to my realisation that Ash is an idiot, a lot of bad puns, and the anime is pretty much bad.

I personally do not appreciate the character design, the bulky 6-7 episodes of him charging all his power and stuff... :I It lacks stuff. As a kid I only liked it because it was flashy, things were exploding....

The entire episode powering up is just to nostalgic for me It wouldnt be the same with out it
