Hi! Real name is Paris, but you can just refer to me as Whitney (or "Whit-Whit" C: ).

I live in South Carolina, and I absolutely adore Pokemon so when I searched around and found the site, I was completely smitten! Infatuated! Attracted -- *shot*

I've played Pokemon since the original games but I kind of stopped after the third Gen but have been trying to pick it back up again now. I'm probably not the best battler in terms of competition or strategy... I choose favorites and have fun, tee-hee.

If you are going to start playing the newer games, I sugguest buying a 3DS and wait until october when the new games is released OR if you have a ds, buy Heart Gold or Soul Silver for the nostalgia.

I also quit playing in the catasrophe called generation 3, but I bought Heart gold & Soul Silver, and it sucked me back into pokemon.

I liked Gen 3 enough, just that it isn't my favorite. I think it was just really out there compared to the prior 2 Gens, and not everybody liked that.

It was a bit different...
the fact that it didn't have backwards compatibility or multiple regions were a bit of a downer for me when I found that out
but the story line was(I feel) the best one so far and I liked some of the Pokemon designs even more than some of the originals

I guess I might be slightly biased for it as, though Crystal was my first game, gen 3 was the fist generation I saw from the beginning and I guess that stuck with me more
