I can't wait to try this out!

Slower camera movement? - woohoo! in the previous video I could tell the speedy moveent would probly make a grown man nausius. this solve that problem! :woot:

The game's size will go down massively? - Music to my ears! I am sure the 6th gen will be awesome! :woot:

It will have a more fleshed out animation system which will be introduced later? - i'm interested to know more about wht the team hasin mnd for this, would you give us anyspoilers or hints on what s being planned?
:D

I'm sure Update Tracker #5 would answer alot of the questions in what people were asking in #1, and provide releif and comfort to people's concerns.

looking foward to the next one, especially looking foward to trying out the update for myself.

"it doesn't come with all animations"
Does that mean we will be able to download the animated battle sprites separately? If so, I'm happy with this. The bigger size really isn't a problem for me at all, since I have lots of free space in my HDD, my internet doesn't have any bandwidth limitations whatsoever and I'm not an impatient person, I can wait for a download to finish.

Thats a good idea, you could add that to the suggestions forums, where a content pack could include all seven-hundred-something pokemon and trainer animations.

Perhaps someone is willing to do this after the update has been released.

Aren't the 6th gen games totally 3D, though? I'm not sure who would wanna make animated battle sprites for all the 6th gen Pokémon from scratch... Still worth a try, I guess. I think I'll wait for an "official" answer to my previous question before I do that, though.

I assume the admin team for Pokemon 3D will include 6th gen. ;)
The real challenge would be the 2D animator who does that for the content pack. :(
(Completly from scratch like you said)

Yeah, exactly. That's why I'm waiting for them to answer my question about this being a possibility or not, don't wanna start something at the forums if it's not even possible, you know? :bag:

Yeah it would be hard for them to make the sprites. BUT it is easier to make the overworld sprites than fully animated 128x128 sprites.

Thanks for answering, Nilllzz! The real question though, is: "Is it possible for someone (not necessarily someone from the dev team) to make a Content Pack with the animated battle sprites? Would the game support such a thing?"
I mean, yeah it's hard, but I've seen some people other than me unhappy with being forced to use the overworld sprites. If we had the option to download a content pack with the animated sprites and use them in our game, that would be perfect. That way, people who can't deal with a big download could use the overworld sprites and people like me could use the content pack. Of course, someone would have to make the animated battle sprites, but I'm sure there's someone out there who would love to do such a thing... probably.

Oh I do hope there would be men or women out there that would go out of their way to complete such a massive project, it may even require a small team of spriters to complete it in a reasonable time.

I for one would be a very happy puppy if that were to happen, and considering the people that reside on our forums... I beleive we have a few out there that would do just that!

I have one thing to say to that him/her, TAKE MY MONEY!

Animated battle sprites won't work with the new system
those had 2 sides(front and back) in the new system you see the pokemon from all five sides(hence the overworld sprites)
What I want to see is high res sprites(128x128+ instead of 32x32)
if someone makes those I would be very happy

Ohh, I see. I'm not a sprite artist, I really have no idea, so here's a new question: Is it possible to make animated versions of the battle sprites in this new system and release them as a Content Pack, then?
Even though high res + animated + five sides would be one hell of a mighty task, there still might be someone out there willing to do it (if it's even possible).

If some magical artists managed this monumental task, damn it would be awesome.
