Older Brother: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday - gives more happiness - 500 cost
Younger Brother: Sunday, Wednesday, Friday - gives less happiness - 300 cost

Enethil, I think you may have the wrong days, because I just went to them, its tuesday, and neither of them are open.

That's odd, I got the information from Serebii. It could be that they are not implemented yet.

No, because they work, I used them on my Golbat not too long ago. Maybe Serebii got the dates confused with some other NPC?

I checked G/S/C if there was any difference from HG/SS, but alas there is no difference. There are several shops there, so you may have gone to the wrong one.

They are the two guys standing next to eachother in underground tunnel of goldenrod right? Even so, None of the shops are open, and I know they're all implimented.

I checked myself & I get the same result, they are just saying "We are not open today". I think this is something that needs to be fixed.

Its either a fairly decent miscalculation or slight misinformation, Because I did use them recently, it was just yesterday i beleive. Or suday, but I used the older brother.

i tryed to give my pokemon proteins and they were in the "hug" level, but i used some 3 proteins now they are on the "is waiting for you to walk" level! i think its a bug or something...

Perhaps your pokemon has a distaste for proteins?

Maybe they do, Just continue to Walk or Evolve them, Happiness comes fairly easy that way, If you are breeding Pokemon eggs, Keep the desired Pokemon on you as well.

I vaguely recall someone on this forum saying that the happiness effect from proteins and vitamins aren't implemented yet.. But I'm not 100% sure. But walking around, levelling and the haircut brothers should work.
