Fixed Cannot rename my Pokémon

So I tried to rename my Feurison (Quilava) from Bernard to Feurison. I'm using the French translation and I tried it again in the English translation and it still didn't work. I enter in the name and hit OK and he's just like "Ok, then. Come again sometime." which to me reads more like "Okay, fuck you. Get out of my house."

I just want to put my Pokémon's names back to what they were before I renamed them...

They're all mine. I named them when I caught 'em.

I had this happen to one of my pokemon a while ago but it only happened to that one. The exact way it came about was I had a eevee and named it espeon (so i could remember i was getting friendship on that one) and when it evolved into umbreon i wanted to name it umbreon but it wouldnt let me. However when i named it shadow it worked. Im at a complete loss into why it worked like that though.

I'm pretty sure if you try to name your Pokémon back to their original names, it won't work but someone's gotta confirm that for me.

thinking on it I think I know what the problem is. I think the name changer doesnt let you name them a pokemons actual name only catching them the first time lets you.

Do U play online or offline ??
If its offline, then you can change your party.dat file....
If not, MrHippocrit might help you......

hm I tried that but it worked...
I rewrote the script so you can select a Pokémon from the Pokémon selection screen rather than from a list.

So I guess this is fixed/not a bug.
