Dialga
Pokémon Ranger
It's not the fact that there's been multiple moth/butterfly Pokemon, it's the typing. It could've easily been Bug/Fairy, but instead they chose the very weak, overused Bug/Flying combo. And after going from Gen V, which had the only bugs I liked other than Scizor and sorta Vespiquen and Yanmega, and a lot of them, it's just kinda sad that that the first Bug they show is so... meh, and it kinda worries me since it's the first Bug they showed off. I hope they were holding back, or that they retype Vivi to Bug/Fairy at the last minute, because I actually like the design. It just is probably gonna get left in the dust like most Bug/Flying Pokemon.Whoops sorry. Now Mr./Ms. Dialga just because they introduced another bug/flying pokemon...the nintendo company wanted to keep the traditional pokemon butterfly/moth/bee whatever that might be easy for trainers to evolve and be easier for beginner trainers. I know it's not original, there's butterfree, dustox, beautifly, beedrill. But like the bird pokemon, they needed to start with the bugs too. Just because it's species are the same they tried to make the look different like how other butterflies are.![]()
It's also goes the same with people complaining about there are still another frog or another monkey. Heck, there's different kinds of frogs here in the world and monkeys. Why aren't people aren't complaining about today's oh...another monkey great. People have to look that this is a pokemon world that has somewhat similar to our world, different monkey pokemon, differen frog pokemon....crocodiles that live in sands, sharks that devour you in sand...and hippos that can tear you to shreds in the sand. Things like that.
BTW I'm a Genderless Pokemon, but I'm usually referred to as a male.
