about the small cliffs/jumps

why are they upward inclines like that?

shouldnt it be an upward incline going onto the cliff , instead of an upward incline that u jump off of?

I get what you mean but it doesn't make a difference other then looks , Plus the way it currently is ,Is just easier for everyone

the word of the day is practical.

the dev team hasn't finished the game entirely nor the storyline, so this right now is the main focus.
amongst the biggest workloads they have other than scripting and debugging is map making.

when you consider a map, which is more practical and consumes less FPS, a map with multiple heights/levels to walk on.
or a completely flat map with little inclines for ramps.

a flat map for now is the easier and practical option, we might see a map rework later on, or we might not.
it is simplest to use the system that is implemented now
