Implemented More characters for names.

Hello forums!

Just started playing this game and I can't wait to dive in. But I noticed when naming my player that only letters are allowed. My guy is currently named "GamerFive" >_>

I'd like to suggest numbers, spaces, and special characters (! @ $ % ect.) available when naming. At the very least, there should be a message somewhere notifying what characters (and how many characters) are allowed. For example "Only X number of upper and lower case letters are allowed".

A more ambitious suggestion would be for using the mouse / move and select, rather than typing. What I mean is there is a grid of all possible characters and you click them to form your name (Like in the real Pokemon games). If they werent in the original game then I would say no.

However, if this game is going to go online then numbers would be suggested.

That shouldn't be too much of a problem. One way to do it would be like this: whenever a person joins a server they would be generated a (hidden) unique ID which is what the game would then use to recognise each player. The name would be used purely for aesthetic purposes. So effectively there could be any number of people with the same name but the game sees them as separate entities.

Just wanted to add that currently (v 0.16) player names can consist of 14 total characters including upper and lower case letters and spaces. Can't find how to edit the first post so I'm dropping that info here. Carry on.

It would be nice to have kana and hiragana characters as well. Maybe a few stars and other characters as well. Not just for name tho. but chat as well.
