Sorry, I am new to this but I am trying to update and its saying that I can only update to .30 instead of .31 - do i need to download something manually from the site or a new client?

We have to wait for the update to be uploaded. When you start the client it will tell you if the update is up.

Well it's not entirely accurate.
The timer says only a few minutes but you will be able to update a few hours after the timer has finished
