I only use Whimsicott because of its ability, Prankster : which lets any attack that doesnt do damage attack first.
He's more of my set up for my team.

I don't normally use many grass types due to their large amount of weaknesses. I like to use Fire, Water, Dragon, Psychic, Ground and Electric.

Whimsicoot is only Grass type if I'm not mistaken, so it only has one STAB move, energy ball. I don't know why you have hurricane. I know it has Prankster, but not the very best moveset. Here's one:
Stun Spore
Facade
Energy Ball (or other grass moves)
Confuse Ray (to set up the Para Confuse tactic)

I have hurricane on it because Hurricane has a high chance of confusion, while doing some damage. Like i said before, my Whimsicott is mainly my tailwind setup and usually is taken out on the first turn. If it isnt taken out on my first turn then i go for a stun spore. Unless i was hit the first turn, then he's switched out with the Eject button. ( That way i can put Whimsicott back in to set up the Tailwind after it goes out.

Ahw thats a shame. Otherwise it would have made up the ultimate strategy...
WAIT it can learn grasswhistle so we're good :D
Ok, then I shall share the secret of the ULTIMATE strategy:
First you must gather a team of 5 pokemons which have advantages against all types.
Second you must place this fluffy thing in the first position.
In battle you can now always make the opponent pokemon fall asleep, then quickly change to a pokemon which has a type advantage and you can easely KO the opponent. Then switch back and start all over again.

Yeah however Grasswhistle has a 55% hit rating. :/
