i want this too, but we don't have a lighting system. atm everything is lit with an ambient colour, you can make places lighter or darker with 'shader' objects, which tint everything in its shadow, 0.5,0.5,0.5 shaders are used under sprout tower and the bridge to slowpoke well to create a shadow for example

we'll get a proper solution later

I totally forgot about that place. Well in theory -0.1 would be reverse of the shade

nah

1.0 means no change from ambient light on that colour channel

0.5 means half the value of that colour channel

its a multiplier ;) so for bright you want like 1.5,1.5,1.5 or something. you can tint things colours like to make something green you'd use the values 0.0,1.0,0.0

be aware that it only tints objects it touches, you can't make it any smaller than a tile :(

Wait it done in a RGB type isnt it? Then I would just have to remember Red,green and blue in that order. It should be easy.
Tested! It works We can light up a sign :p I tested on a pokemon center sign. I would post a screenshot. But Idk how to do it on here. Anyway. It also tints the trainer. When tints are being use. Wow...This opens up so many things we can do using it.

Mk. I can keep messing around with the tints in the mean time. This works just like what I wanted tho.Tho visuals of the lights wouldnt hurt, But That where the see thre texture I was thinking about making comes in. Once I get done with the tints I'll release a mod for it. Then work on the see thre texture packs to see what I can come up with.

What this is exactly supposed to do? :) Can you post any screenshots?
It shoulds certain areas at nite lighten up and certain colors. Pkmn center=red, pokemart=blue(cant really tell),Gym=orange and radio tower=green, Tho it hard to tell on most of them. Like I said only a slight mod.
