Confirmed [Indev 0.53.2] Missing Experience during Battle if First Party Member Cannot Fight

When battling a trainer the game sometimes just doesn't give me any exp. It just skips the message "XXX has received XXX exp" and when i look at the summary of the pokemon the exp hasn't added there either.

What I expected to happen:
To receive exp when battling a pokemon from a trainer.

What actually happened:
I don't get exp from some pokemon when battling a trainer(usually the last one).

Steps to reproduce:
1. fight a trainer(with more than 1 pokemon)
2. defeat first pokemon(here i still get exp)
3. defeat second pokemon(here it becomes random, sometimes i do get exp, sometimes i don't, usually the last pokemon doesn't give me exp)

Can you try to replicate this but with a pokemon instead of an egg in the first slot of your party?

It seems the egg in first slot was indeed the problem, without the egg in first slot i got all the exp from the battle.

[UPDATE] It goes even further, defeated pokemon in first slot also cause the bug.

Too bad, upon hearing this... well the only thing you could do is to wait for the hail helix to make this wish come true.

Or just don't keep a defeated pokemon or egg in the first slot when entering a battle
