Shou Liengod updated 1 Year Later 3D with a new update entry:

Prep work for version 0.11

This update fixes varies bugs and other issues regarding the "Goldenrod Access" glitch found when using Escape Rope. I also reworded more dialogues with proper speech patterns regarding to each character speaking. most noticeable is meeting Prof. Elm for the first time. (which was 100% reworded)

other changes were small but doesnt affect much of the game. hope the update addresses the few major issues addressed.

I guess when I play this I will do long shot that I won't need turn on and off ContentPacks.
@Shou Liengod download link is for 1 Year Later 3D Ver.10b.rar, to fix that you need change version string 0.11. And before this update previous link was to 1 Year Later 3D, so your links always was one version older then suppose to be, I think.

no its not. the current version is 0.10b
the previous version is 0.10a

the letters are used like numbers but in its own section. meaning what kind of version is 0.10 instead of having like 0.10.1.2 which is DUMB

its alot of work. those sprites are much bigger and more detailed. and plus i dont have alot of resources to replicate them but only to create them from scratch. which is very hard.
right now i only have the following characters that are 100% done.

• Both Male & Female Alexis (you)
• Noel
• Eliza
• Elm
• Renault

only 6 full sprites made and difiicult to keep doing it because i dont have alot of time anymore due to my day job. (dont know how many times i said that..)
like the tiny comment in the front page says. "Coming in a future updates"
which is left vague.

i didnt take it as an insult.
like i said in the forum, everything I do now is only for 1YL3D. all of the things will be out there when it's ready.
im also still improving my work as I go as much as I can. (with little time unfortunatly) but im still trying.

as for Chapter 2 Progress, I have the story at the very beginning, so i wont release the 0.11 build like that and have nothing to do. still need a decent amount of work needs to be done. I need to get to at least Half of Chapter 2 if i want to consider updating that much. but will keep up to date in news if anything.

As you can see, before "version 0.11" there's the word "prep" which stands for "preparations" and that means that the changes this patch has are needed to be in the current version before 0.11 gets released, stuff like bug fixes and minor game improvements.
when letters are added to a version number it means that it's the exact same content but with bugs fixes and and minor changes that don't deserve a new version number, a whole number change means that there's new (not so minor) content added to the game.

this is the equivalent of releasing 0.53.1 after a long wait instead of releasing 0.54 of the kolben gamemode, next version has much more new features but the devs decided to release bug fixes before releasing the new content.
