Allow me to tell you why I'm angry about the plot of this sidequest:
  1. This is the final sidequest of the JobBBS in BN3, and without a doubt one of the toughest ones. Basically, you gotta figure out the locations you gotta go to (whether on the non internet world or the internet) and the game throws out the hardest enemies in the game (Omega varient, but I like that so I'm cutting that out.)
  2. It seems that the father of the girl seemingly wanted to make sure his family never is going to see the will, because he placed it into obscene locations (which was encoded in a puzzle) and had the aforementioned Omega level viruses, making her call upon Lan and Megaman.
  3. The reward for the insanity (for the girl)? A photo(as the protagonist you get a recover 300, which you should have outgrown by this point). Oh, and by the way, this was apparently a way to get the girl good at virus busting, which is stupid if you're not gonna pull a punch.
And that is why this sidequest has the dumbest plot ever.
