Dragonwinged: suggested features

i feel that fan-games like this one are suggestions to the franchise owners, so here i hope to see these features implemented here first.
(i'm using the wiiu browser to do this, so i don't think i'll be able to use any text features)

Movebank
something i feel that should have been implemented in gen iii(hoenn) the four move limit would be removed, and replaced with a full movebank of all the moves the pokemon has learned. only four moves are still used in battle/contests at one time, but the moveset can be changed at any time in the overworld via the summary screen. because of this feature, the move deleter and move relearner will no longer exist. in addition, all field moves learned bay a pokemon can be used ( in the overworld) at any time. as well, any tms/hms are dowloaded into the pc and automatically taught to pokemon.

this will turn the things complicated, the battles will be crazy...a lot

I think you might have misread. only the four moves in the moveset (the top four spaces) are available per battle and can only be changed outside of battle, so battles wouldn't change at all.(except in the case of the reserve moveset, which would replace a move in the primary moveset if the move ran out of pp.

(p.s. sorry about the blank post. the 3ds doesn't have these text bubbles.

You can already give heart scales to the move reminder to relearn moves your pokemon knew,so i don't see the point of this.

currently in the game is the move relearner who will teach your pokemon a move it has forgotten, however at the cost of a heart scale. in pokemon 3d, heart scales would have to be farmed from breakable rocks using rock smash, a weak fighting-type move that is not desirable in a full party meeant for battle. using movebank, trainers would be able to change moves at any time outside of battle, regardless as to where they are in the game. (in pokemon 3d, the move relearner is in blackthorn city, almost a full halfway through the game, and at the end of the johto region.) as an added bonus any pokemon that knows a field move will be able to use their field moves at any time, regardless as to whether or not it is in the moveset.

Maybe give each pokeman a 5th move slot used exclusively for field moves (hms, sweet scent, etc...). of course, the 5th move wouldn't be usable for battle.

or maybe allow us to carry a 7th pokeman that isnt usable in battle.

You can technically able to carry 7 pokemon in offline mode but it might just glitched up.

Well seven pokes in party will change the game mechanics, and i think he will not agree.but is a good ideia

the current number of commonly used field moves is eleven (that i know of). even with a fifth moveslot, two pokemon will need to have all field moves, taking two spaces in your party for bank pokemon, and trying to find good pokemon to carry these moves is difficult at best. with movebank, you wont need any bank pokemon as any field moves that the pokemon can learn will be usable at any time.

in my original post, i said that this feature should have been implemented in gen iii. here i'm going to explain why.
in hoenn they introduced pokemon contests, enabling a new use for pokemon moves and an entirely new functions set. but the way it was utilized, pokemon could be utilized for either battling, or contests. if you wanted to use a battle pokemon for contests, move-wise the first thing you would have to do is go to the move deleter in lilycove city and delete all hm moves. (for a pokemon like my swampert, whose moveset includes all hm moves, a return trip here after the move tutor in fallarbor town, as you must have at least one move in your moveset at a time.) you must then head to fallarbor town and relearn all contest moves. then after the contest, you will need to head back to the move tutor and relearn all your battle moves, a venture that would cost up to eight heart scales, a limited item in the game and very hard to find. if pokemon contests are ever introduced in pokemon 3d (which appears probable as all moves in the game already contain contest function), the movebank would be a very helpful mechanic to the game.
