I am learning blue magic in FFV, I do recommend you get it, as it's my favorite final fantasy. Mighty Guard is definitely recommended Blue Magic!
White wind is also cool, and I needed it against Bahamut. Don't screw with Blue Mage.

A nickname of mine, my true name is Kyubey. Also I won't tell about my feelings at all.
While the Miasma theory was proven false, Plague Doctors did have protection against the Bubonic plague because of their outfits blocking out the epidemic. However, the Miasma theiry which they commonly believed was the case did more harm then good, because they believed that if your suit didn't smell, then you weren't affected. This was a problem because this was not the case and sterilization wasn't perfected yet, causing the Plague Doctors to be a massive cause of the widespread Bubonic Plague.
