Unable to reproduce [Indev 0.53] Nasty Plot Does Nothing

Nasty Plot doesn't even Rise your Sp.Atk i used it and nothing my attack power was still the same i Tested that out on Multiplayer
What I expected to happen:
Sp. Atk Rises

What actually happened:
Nothing....

Tested it and found no issues with it, tried both host and client, same results.
