Why not just implement some songs from other pokemon games into the radio then?I don't know that, and I bet that music is partly licensed as well.
Also, I have no control over the content streamed on those streams. How am I gonna control they are going to stream non-illegal content?
Well I was reffering to Nilllzz with a suggestion so I figured I should tag himThis is a suggestion thread, you don't have to tag him.
You quoted his post, so...you kinda didn't need to, also for your suggestion, you can do that by making a content pack.Well I was reffering to Nilllzz with a suggestion so I figured I should tag him
Well, there's the thing that music takes up lots of space. Why not just implement some songs from other pokemon games into the radio then?
I "could" make a content pack but that would require me to learn how to make one and it would take time which I dont seem to have enough of nowadaysYou quoted his post, so...you kinda didn't need to, also for your suggestion, you can do that by making a content pack.
You can't spare 10-15 minutes?I "could" make a content pack but that would require me to learn how to make one and it would take time which I dont seem to have enough of nowadays
Midi files? They are only a few Kb big and shouldnt take up that much roomWell, there's the thing that music takes up lots of space.
MP3s don't take much room either, they compress the source audio.Midi files? They are only a few Kb big and shouldnt take up that much room
No, cause the radio is not "Content", it needs to be changed by a GameMode.@nilllzz I haven't tried to do it, but is there a way to add more channels than just edit the existing ones in a content pack? say....I want to fill it with 20 stations each with a single music file.
This all looks very complicated to me. I will just get my buddy to help me later, He's good at coding and stuff like thatMP3s don't take much room either, they compress the source audio.
But you obviously lose quality when you compress something.
I guess you just read this: http://pokemon3d.net/forum/resources/89/
and create your own ContentPack that can replace the music so you can listen to what you want.
It has nothing to do with coding. What it boils down to for you to do: Create a folder, drag your favorite music files (.mp3 format) in, rename them so they have the same names as the music files of the game, start the game, activate your Content Pack, done. This all looks very complicated to me. Thats basically what I wanted to do@nilllzz I haven't tried to do it, but is there a way to add more channels than just edit the existing ones in a content pack? say....I want to fill it with 20 stations each with a single music file.
Thats basically what I wanted to do
That was basically the answerNo, cause the radio is not "Content", it needs to be changed by a GameMode.
