How many SHINY'S do you have?

I'm a big fan of chaining on Diamond, so I have a few of them. *ahem*

Then there are some ones I gave away, I'll try my best to remember them off the top of my head. Shiny: Absol(x2...or 3), Dusclops(x3), Vulpix(x2), Ariados, Tauros, Buizel, and Elecktrike. Those are all the ones I can remember ^^; I didn't count ones I got via trade, because I'm not entirely sure which ones were legit and which ones weren't.
I also randomly found a shiny Gloom on my Nuzlocke of Heart Gold(technically I don't count Red Gyrados, but that's just me). I'm not a big fan of soft resetting or hatching eggs for shinies either.

In Sinnoh you could use that PokeRadar thing but it didn't work well for me.

I used the Masuda method to breed shiny Pokemon, that means you breed a Pokemon from two different language regions such as English and Japan. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Masuda_method

In Black/White the odds are actually increased for that method

I've gotten all 3 Legendary dogs as shiny's through the event leading to the realease of Zoroark.
Shiny Gyarados(but everyone got the one i'm talking about)
and the only legit shiny i've ever caught was a Female Modest Geodude. i remember gender and nature because i was very disappointed..

First was red gyrados on silver. I spent hours and hours then getting shiney starts on gold totodile and I cant remember which on ruby... Had a shiney starly on diamond. I like shiny starters they also have high stats but can take ages. On pearl I caught a few due to the pokeradar thing if you keep chain going you increase shiny chance. I did start breeding shinys but got bored lol went back to mass febass catching on pearl to trade out to mates who couldn't be bothered to find that one square

I'm trying the Masuda method now with a Japanese Ditto and my Charizard. No luck yet! And the Pokéradar never worked for me.

On Pokemon Black/White 2 if you manage to complete the national pokedex by catching them all, go talk to Professor Juniper and you get given a 'Shiny Charm'. When a pokemon in your party is holding it, it increases the chance of finding them by 33%.

Update to my list, after talking about all my shinies I decided to get back onto Diamond and chain some more.
Now I have a beautiful shiny Larvitar.

I wish they would bring it back to the newer games, I guess it just wasn't popular. Which is sad because Diamond has more hours on it than all of my games combined due to chaining.

Yeah but it takes the excitement of finding one in the grass!

And Eggs take a while to hatch too depending on the Pokemon inside the egg (even with the FLame Body ability)
