Pokémon Ranger
Gymleader Morty from Ecruteak City only used mean look with his his Gengar and second Hunter.
What I expected to happen:
He should've beet me up, using a verity of attacks
What actually happened:
When I went on to get my badge in Ecruteak City, I encountered a funny but kind of disappointing problem.
I started the battle with Morty and fought his Gastly with my Flaaffy. Everything went normal, he fought well but in the end I won that first battle.
After that, he send out his first Hunter and killed my Flaaffy ): Well I send out my Kadabra and firmly defeated him.
Then he one-hitted me with his Gengar, forcing me to send out my Pidgeotto. He first attacked using hypnosis, but it failed, then I attacked him once with Twister, but realizing that wouldn't bring me far, I changed to use Sand-Attack. Well he hit me twice with sucker punch, almost killing my Pidgeotto.
I hit him with another Sand-Attack and this is where things start to get bizarre. He Used Mean Look, it worked. I hit him with another Sand-Attack ... and then he used mean look again, it failed. So this went on until I couldn't get his accuracy down anymore ... and then I just used like 10 gusts to kill the Gengar, as it was only using mean look. But Morty was intelligent, so he send out his second Hunter and to kill me, he used his most powerful attack ... yeah ... Mean Look again (and that before I could hit him with another sand-attack). I guess Morty is kind of affected by that attack.
Well i don't know if this was a single case thing, but it certainly made for a disappointing gym battle.
Hope this might show you guys a flaw in the AI or maybe it just annoyed you to read through all this text. As special thanks you can have a picture of
Gengar and Hunter using Morty favorite attack

Steps to reproduce:
( I Fought with Morty again.)
I killed that Gastly with my Fluffy, after that it survived a Sucker punch ...
Now it's back to the Mean looks. Flaffy is a pure electro typ, so I guess it would be able to use any move on me right?
PS: The problem only seems to effect Gengar and the second Hunter, because the other ones use their moves perfectly fine ...
