Option to show weather effect

Maybe this one can be implemented to option menu. I think it's good to have a choice in option menu that can disable weather effect, I mean that fancy particle. So, when we choose to disable weather effect, the current weather will be displayed as icon instead on map effect, and the tint of the screen will never changed (except if it's day or night)

This, I'd love if being able to toggle weather effects without having to go through the games files was a thing.

Due to the current season being winter the Snow lags my system a bit, and I can't do/don't know how to do anything to change it.

In the Options Menu, there is an option to turn Weather from Fancy to Fast. In Fast, weather conditions are rendered in 2D instead of 3D, it helps with performance a lot.

Yes, but the weather is still implemented. I'd rather just toggle off the weather entirely since it doesn't really affect what Pokemon you can find in area's with snow covering the ground.

Plus the transitions between area's like Vermillion's port underground to overground, you can see the sky dark or light outside depending on time of day, but clear sky. you go up the stairs and it's raining, or snowing with snow on the ground that breaks immersion or makes the game a tad bit jumpy.

You can launch a server client and join it and then type "/weather 0" in the chat box (or the server console) to turn the weather off.

Maybe that won't be a good idea now, but since the server default is weatherless, you can download the server client and then add the same IP you see there and connect yourself.

I know about that fancy to fast option, but yes, especially in snow, outside map is slower than clear weather, and that can be easily noticed if I go outside from an interior map (e.g: pokecenter). Hmm, maybe now I will try to use that server client. Where that server client can be downloaded? But hopefully that option will be implemented...
