Co-op issue: Disconnects immediately after joining

I'm trying to start a Co-op game with a friend via Hamachi. Everything seems to be set up correctly, but everytime I join his hosted game, I get thrown of right away. If I try to host, I'm thrown of as soon as he joins my game...
Any help would be much appreciated.

I found the problem. When you connect via Hamachi, there is either a direct tunnel or a relayed tunnel. When you have a direct tunnel, Hamachi has punched a hole through both firewalls to allow direct access, so information is not interrupted. A relayed tunnel tries to bypass around the firewall instead by creating a handshake protocol. Unfortunately, it auto refreshes, so the firewall atches it whenever there is a constant stream of information, so no coop can be established. I have not been able to test if it is possibleto play with relayed tunnels if both firewalls are down, but i would not advise that anyways. As for how to fix it, all internet solutions I have found do not work as far as I can tell. Hamachi 2 is when this problem started occurring, so maybe switching back to Hamachi 1 might work.
