I think it would be a good idea to get rid of the trading evolutions. It just makes more sense not having it, you know?

Agreed. Caught an awesome Ghastly today and was wondering what its fate would be if there was no way to trade to get it to evolve. Perhaps some "Trade Stone" to use on it to evolve? Or just set some level to it. Or put in some NPC that trades and trades just for the sake of this evolution. I dunno.
Pokemon could have handheld items and evolve at certain level (like tradeable Pokemon evolve the first time at level 25 and then evolve next time at level 40-50)
we're going to have trading so trade evolutions won't be a problem at that point.
