Not a bug Ilex Forest EXIT blocked?

i just caught Farfetch'd (which was a hassle lol) and i made my way to the exit to golden rod city and well i walk in the door and nothing i didnt know if i missed some thing but i cant exit the forest

That's because there aren't anything beyond that exit, it's not implemented yet. You have to wait for a future update, maybe tomorrow.
