In this game does what type of move it is (rock,fire,grass,ect) or what kind of move it is determine weather or not it is a Attack or Special attack?

if you goto the moves page of the pokemon description and press enter(or what ever you have set as you "accept" button it will show details like power acuracy and class(phys/spec/stat) I have a feeling you can figure them out from how they look but feel free to ask if you cant
