Fixed [Indev 0.44.2] Sucker Punch Hits Even When an Item is Used

I was in the Ecruteak Gym and battling the trainers, and after using a potion on my Quilava, the Haunter then used sucker punch and it hit.

Not sure if this is supposed to happen but has anyone else encountered anything similar with the move sucker punch?

Sounds normal to me. I've seen that Sucker Punch will only fail if the opponent uses a non-damaging move, like growl, or if the opponent attacks first. Don't quote me on this though.

Sucker Punch is only supposed to work if the opponent is using a direct damage move. If the opponent uses a status move, item, or switches out, the move fails.

Sucker Punch in on the list of updated moves so it should be fixed in the next update.
