Not a bug [0.37] Incorrect evolution ability.

I'm hoping this is the right place for this.
So I finally got my tyrogue today so I could add the final member to my team (Hitmonchan) and to make sure I got exactly what I wanted I saved before accepting it from the guy in Mt.Mortor and also before I evolved it. I made sure the tyrogue had steadfast as it's ability and triple checked on various websites to make sure that it was the ability I needed to ensure hitmonchan ended up with iron fists which is pretty crucial to his use. Anyways after a while of levelling him carefully to keep his defence high he reached lvl 20 and evolved into hitmonchan as expected and I checked his summary only to discover that his ability was set to keen eye. I took before and after screenshots for proof.

I'm not sure if this was supposed to be set this way, or if both abilities would result in keen eye right now as I suspect, or if this is a glitch or what, but I'm really close to finally finishing my team now so any insight into this matter would be greatly appreciated :)

If a Pokémon cannot inherit the ability from its pre evolution, it generates a new one. In Pokémon3D, it selects from its first and second ability randomly, when it does that. So you have a 50/50 chance of getting Iron Fist this way.

Thanks a million for the tip nilllzz! I reloaded my save and evolved him again and he ended up with iron fists this time!
