Fixed Tyrogue Get! Rename First Slot Pokemon? Bug

When I defeated the "KARATE KING" in MT. Mortar he gave me his Tyrogue, but instead of renaming IT, it told me to rename my first slot pokemon (Lvl38 Feraligatr [F] at the time). I was very confused and am wondering if anyone else had the same experience.

Also, I'm sorry if I spitting out any repeats.

Happened to me as well and couldn't find it posted. Do any of y'all have a screenshot of it by chance?

Nope. I usually get so befuddled when I find a bug that I forget to take a screenshot. But I remember that when I got the option to rename the Tyrouge, it showed a picture of my Leafeon (first in my party) and asked if I wanted to rename her.
