Time/Season Problem?

I just downloaded the game today and installed everything I needed too. The game worked fine except for one issue: the game thought it was winter and nighttime when in real time its summer and was day time. I thought the game was supposed to synch with the computer's clock, but maybe I'm wrong? If not, does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix it?

The in game is in tune with your computer's clock,
for the seasons however it does not follow the world's seasons (we decided changing season once every three months was no good) so it changes every week! The time of day changes as well with night starting by 5PM and not ending til 9AM

Okay. That makes a lot more sense now, especially considering the fact that I started the game after 5. Thank you very much for clearing that up.
