I cant get to goldenrod because of this sudowoodo, and i need the the squirtbottle but you get that at goldenrod....

That part comes after Goldenrod, first you must go through Union Cave, do Azalea Town, go through IlexForest and THEN you will reach Goldenrod. In which you must first defeat whitney to access the sudowoodo.
